Hi there, everyone.  My name is Archie, or you can also call me by my Chinese name, 阿奇.   I’m originally from Canada, but I’ve been living and working in China since 2005—nearly half of my life!  From 2005 to 2008, I was an English teacher in Wuhan, and then I relocated to Qingdao to begin my career at ReSource Pro in early 2009.  

I was initially attracted to ReSource Pro because I could see that it was a special company full of bright, young talents, who were destined to do great things.  When I joined, ReSource Pro was still in start-up mode, which meant we were always exploring exciting ways to learn, grow, and improve the business.  Working in that kind of environment was energizing, and it also provided many opportunities for me to learn new things to support my own personal and professional growth.

When I started in 2009, my main responsibility was teaching business English to our employees. I found that role very rewarding because I was helping my coworkers learn how to communicate more effectively with their American clients. Then, from 2012-2015 ReSource Pro enabled me to expand my expertise beyond English to include other exciting areas like change management, business development, and leadership—and again I was fortunate enough to be able to share my expertise to help my colleagues also develop their knowledge and skills.  For the past 3 years, I’ve been a Talent Development Supervisor, which means I spend most of my time managing projects and leading junior members of the Talent Development Team…a role I enjoy very much!

Even after being part of ReSource Pro for 12 years, my excitement and passion haven’t waned, just like the company’s spirit of continuous improvement and innovation is stronger than ever.  I’m very much looking forward to the next 12 years and seeing what great accomplishments will come next as I continue to evolve together with ReSource Pro.  I hope I will have the chance to meet you on that future journey, so if you see me around the office after you join ReSource Pro, don’t be afraid to stop me and say “hi.”
